RECORD STORE DAY

Tannen Records is celebrating the Record Store Day… with one day of delay – in order to pay some respect to those record labels that actually own a real and proper shop. We are still a label in its early stages and, of course, we cannot allow ourselves the luxury of releasing new records for that particular event.
That is why we decided to support the initiative by giving you some free downloads.
We celebrate this year’s Record Store Day with:

Thousands Millions, Here And Back Again
Wynona Records, 2008

We are also providing the last record of a band that isn’t quite part of Tannen Records, but that had a huge influence on our project.

The Rituals, Celebrate Life
Sons Of Vesta, 2009

BEST ORIGINAL SONG

Incredible:
21st Century Boy has been nominated for the category Best Original Song at the 2010 David di Donatello (well, lets say they are the Italian Oscars).
Bad Love Experience share the nominees with artists like Jovanotti, Patty Pravo, Marlene Kuntz…
Let´s keep our fingers crossed!

A THOUSAND MILLION LITTLE PEOPLE

We’re really excited to announce that Slinkachu will be the featured artist that will take care of the artwork of the new Thousands Millions’ vinyl!
Little people captured for the cover art, can’t wait to see it!
Here you can see some of his amazing works.
We got into him through Studio Cromie and its awesome summer festival called FAME.
Stay tuned…

TAKING OVER EUROPE!

Actually we’re still doing some packages to send overseas and across Europe. We really hope they’ll reach the foreign record shops’ shelves as soon as possibile.
This weekend we’ll be in London trying to give some records to our fav stores.
To the Londoners: see you Saturday afternoon at Rough Trade (the one in Brick Lane), Sounds Of The Universe and Sister Ray!
Is there any other shop you might suggest me? Are there any foreigner distributors interested?
