It was the idea of the guitarist Bruno Vanessi (Rosolina Mar), the bassist Davide Bronzato and the pianist/guitarist Andrea Gastaldello to give birth to De Curtis and they started working togheter at the beginning of 2009. After few fruitful sessions, the three hire the drummer Riccardo Orlandi (Hell Demonio, The Rituals) and the saxophonist Luca Bronzato. With these new musicians in the group they achieved a new sound and after five months they succeed in composing their first work. April 2010 signes the date of their first 8 tracks recording by Fabio Magistrali and in September they will come up as the 2° number of the red series. The 8 tracks of Baciami Alfredo contain all the most suggestive sonorities of the band. The fine medley between minimalist Jazz-Rock, rich of deflections to Pop Music and Lounge, reminds of a Smooth-Soul that looks at the seventies, and develops the different bents and music experiences of the quintet with a touch of versatile irony.
